She soon realized that this book is wanted by many creatures which puts her at risk as she has the book. She makes a scheme that she would uncover whatever secrets this book holds. She finds her self face to face with a vampire Matthew Claire who offers his assistance. Even though she didn’t want to be a witch she knew better than to trust a vampire. But, she does so at the end and accepts his help and that how their chemistry connect. The character of Ysabeau de clermont is portrayed by  Lindsay duncan.
